A man passed by him in the mosque of Hims, and it was said, "This man served the Prophet ﷺ." So he stood up and went to him and said, "Narrate to me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ which has not passed between you and him through other men."He said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'There is no servant who says when he reaches evening and when he reaches morning, I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as Prophet, three times, except that it becomes a right upon Allah to please him.'"
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا شعبة عن أبي عقيل هاشم بن بلال عن سابق بن ناجية عن أبي سلام قال
مر به رجل في مسجد حمص فقيل هذا خدم النبي ﷺ فقام إليه فقال حدثني حديثا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ لم يتداوله بينك وبينه الرجال قال سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول ما من عبد يقول حين يمسي وحين يصبح رضيت بالله ربا وبالإسلام دينا وبمحمد ﷺ نبيا ثلاث مرات إلا كان حقا على الله أن يرضيه
