He witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Farewell Pilgrimage, when he said, "Indeed, your blood, your property, and your honor are sacred to one another, just as this day of yours is sacred, this month of yours is sacred, and this city of yours is sacred."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Abu Khaythama also narrated to me, saying, Jareer reported to us, and he mentioned the like of it.
حدثنا علي بن بحر حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن مغيرة عن موسى بن زياد بن حذيم السعدي عن أبيه
أنه شهد رسول الله ﷺ في حجة الوداع فقال ألا إن دماءكم وأموالكم وأعراضكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا وكحرمة شهركم هذا وكحرمة بلدكم هذا قال أبو عبد الرحمن وحدثني أبو خيثمة حدثنا جرير فذكر مثله
