The Prophet ﷺ said, "Move quickly through the valley of Muhassir, and use pebbles like those used in a sling."
حدثنا سفيان عن زياد يعني ابن سعد عن أبي الزبير عن أبي معبد
أن النبي ﷺ قال ارفعوا عن بطن محسر وعليكم بمثل حصى الخذف
Its isnad is sahih. Ziyad bin Saad bin Abdul-Rahman Khurasani is thiqah, thabt, one of the meticulous hafiz. Abu Zubayr is Muhammad bin Muslim bin Tadrus Makki, a thiqah tabii. Yaala bin Ataa said, "He was the most complete of people in intellect and the most retentive of them, and whoever criticized him has no argument." Bukhari gave him a biographical entry in al-Kabir 1/1/221-222 without mentioning any criticism of him. Abu Mabad is the freed slave of Ibn Abbas. See 1821.
