Hasan bin Hasan sent word to Miswar proposing to marry his daughter, so Miswar said to the messenger, "Tell him to meet me after the evening prayer."When Hasan came to him, Miswar praised Allah and extolled Him, then said, "To proceed. By Allah, there is no lineage, no kinship, and no marriage tie dearer to me than your lineage and your marriage tie. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Fatimah is a piece of me. What troubles her troubles me, and what pleases her pleases me. On the Day of Resurrection, all bonds of lineage and kinship will be severed except my own lineage, kinship, and marriage ties.' You already have her daughter as your wife, and if I were to marry my daughter to you, that would trouble her."So Hasan left, accepting his excuse.

أنه بعث إليه حسن بن حسن يخطب ابنته فقال له قل له فليلقني في العتمة قال فلقيه فحمد المسور الله وأثنى عليه وقال أما بعد والله ما من نسب ولا سبب ولا صهر أحب إلي من سببكم وصهركم ولكن رسول الله ﷺ قال فاطمة مضغة مني يقبضني ما قبضها ويبسطني ما بسطها وإن الأنساب يوم القيامة تنقطع غير نسبي وسببي وصهري وعندك ابنتها ولو زوجتك لقبضها ذلك قال فانطلق عاذرا له
Its isnad is sahih. Abdullah bin Jafar bin Abdul-Rahman bin Miswar is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in Muslim. Umm Bakr is a trustworthy successor (tabiyah). Bukhari narrated the hadith in abridged form (that is, the prophetic wording) in 7/78, no. 3714, Fath, in the book of the virtues of the companions, the merits of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ kinsfolk. Hakim also narrated it in 3/158 and Dhahabi agreed with him, as did Bayhaqi in 7/64.
