I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite in the dawn prayer, "And the lofty palm trees."
حدثنا يعلى حدثنا مسعر عن زياد بن علاقة
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ في الفجر والنخل باسقات
Its isnad is sahih. Its narrators are well-known, trustworthy figures already mentioned. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/337, no. 457, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on recitation in the Fajr prayer, and by Tirmidhi, 2/108, no. 306, who said, hasan sahih, and by Ibn Majah, 1/268, no. 816, and by Nasai, 2/157, no. 950, in the Book of Opening the Prayer, and by Darimi, 1/337, no. 1297, and by Tayalisi, 1/94, no. 413, Minhah, and Hakim graded it sahih, 2/464, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
