He reported that he witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the prayer and then deliver a sermon, in which he said, "Whoever slaughtered before we prayed should slaughter another in its place." Sometimes he said, "Let him slaughter another. As for the one who has not yet slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah the Exalted."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن الأسود بن قيس أنه سمع
يحدث أنه شهد رسول الله ﷺ صلى ثم خطب فقال من كان ذبح قبل أن نصلي فليعد مكانها أخرى وربما قال فليعد أخرى ومن لا فليذبح على اسم الله تعالى
