He used to relate that Jibreel was delayed in coming to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet became distressed. Something was said to him about it, and then there was revealed, "By the morning brightness, and by the night when it grows still, your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He hate you" [Duha 93:1–3].
