Bara bin Azib reported,

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ said the takbir, he would raise his hands until we could see his thumbs near his ears.

حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا سفيان عن يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى

عن البراء بن عازب قال

كان النبي ﷺ إذا كبر رفع يديه حتى نرى إبهاميه قريبا من أذنيه
