Bara bin Azib reported,

I saw the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the Trench carrying earth, and the dust had covered the hair of his chest.

حدثنا وكيع حدثنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق

رأيت النبي ﷺ يوم الخندق ينقل التراب وقد وارى التراب شعر صدره
