Ibn Abu Adi reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us and said, "Let no one slaughter before we have prayed."My maternal uncle stood up and said, "Messenger of Allah, this is a day on which meat is plentiful." Ibn Abu Adi said, "and disliked. I slaughtered my sacrifice early so that my family and neighbors could eat, and I have a young milking goat that is better than two sheep of meat. Shall I slaughter it?"He replied, "Yes, but a young goat will not suffice as a sacrifice for anyone after you, and it is the better of your two sacrifices."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا داود وابن أبي عدي عن داود المعنى عن عامر
أن النبي ﷺ قال ابن أبي عدي خطبنا رسول الله ﷺ فقال لا يذبحن أحد قبل أن نصلي فقام إليه خالي وقال يا رسول الله هذا يوم اللحم فيه كثير قال ابن أبي عدي مكروه وإني ذبحت نسكي قبل ليأكل أهلي وجيراني وعندي عناق لبن خير من شاتي لحم فأذبحها قال نعم ولا تجزئ جذعة عن أحد بعدك وهي خير نسيكتيك
