Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

A woman traveled by sea and vowed that if Allah delivered her safely, she would fast for a month. Allah delivered her, but she did not fast before she died. A relative of hers came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him.He said, "Fast on her behalf."

عن ابن عباس

أن امرأة ركبت البحر فنذرت إن الله تبارك وتعالى أنجاها أن تصوم شهرا فأنجاها الله عز وجل فلم تصم حتى ماتت فجاءت قرابة لها إلى النبي ﷺ فذكرت ذلك له فقال صومي
