The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever follows a funeral procession until the prayer is performed over the deceased earns one qirat of reward, and whoever walks with the funeral until the burial is complete," and Mura said, "until the deceased is buried, earns two qirats of reward, and a qirat is like the mountain of Uhud."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد قال أبو عبد الرحمن وكتب به إلي قتيبة حدثنا عبثر بن القاسم عن برد أخي يزيد بن أبي زياد عن المسيب بن رافع قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ من تبع جنازة حتى يصلي عليها كان له من الأجر قيراط ومن مشى مع الجنازة حتى تدفن وقال مرة حتى يدفن كان له من الأجر قيراطان والقيراط مثل أحد
Its isnad is sahih. Anbar bin Qasim Zubaydi is trustworthy, and his hadith is found in the major hadith collections. Likewise, Burd bin Abu Ziyad is trustworthy. This hadith was mentioned earlier at 16742.18504m - Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Salih bin Abdullah Tirmidhi and Abu Muamar narrated it to us, they said, Anbar bin Qasim, Abu Zubayd, narrated to us, from Burd, the brother of Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, from Musayab bin Rafi, from Bara, from the Prophet ﷺ ... similarly.(18504m) Its isnad is sahih, and it is like the previous one. However, it is among the additions of Abdullah.
