A man was reciting Surah al-Kahf in his home, with his horse tied beside him by two ropes, when a cloud came over him and began drawing closer and closer, causing his horse to shy away from it.The man said, "I was amazed at that."In the morning, he came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned what had happened, recounting the whole story to him.The Prophet ﷺ said, "That was tranquility, which descended for the Quran."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا زهير عن أبي إسحاق
كان رجل يقرأ في داره سورة الكهف وإلى جانبه حصان له مربوط بشطنين حتى غشيته سحابة فجعلت تدنو وتدنو حتى جعل فرسه ينفر منها قال الرجل فعجبت لذلك فلما أصبح أتى النبي ﷺ فذكر ذلك له وقص عليه فقال النبي ﷺ تلك السكينة تنزلت للقرآن
