Ubayd bin Fayruz reported,

I asked Bara bin Azib, "Tell me what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade or disliked regarding sacrificial animals."He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us, and my hand is shorter than his hand, and he said, 'Four are not acceptable as sacrifices. The one-eyed animal whose defect is obvious, the sick animal whose illness is obvious, the lame animal whose limp is obvious, and the emaciated animal that has no marrow.'"I said, "I dislike that there be a defect in the tooth, in the ear, or in the horn."He said, "Whatever you dislike, leave it, but do not forbid it to anyone else."

عن عبيد بن فيروز قال

سألت البراء بن عازب قلت حدثني ما نهى عنه رسول الله ﷺ من الأضاحي أو ما يكره قال قام فينا رسول الله ﷺ ويدي أقصر من يده فقال أربع لا يجزن العوراء البين عورها والمريضة البين مرضها والعرجاء البين ظلعها والكسير التي لا تنقي قلت إني أكره أن يكون في السن نقص وفي الأذن نقص وفي القرن نقص قال ما كرهت فدعه ولا تحرمه على أحد
