Not everything we narrate to you have we heard directly from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Rather, our companions narrated to us, since tending to the camels used to keep us occupied.
حدثنا أبو أحمد حدثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق
ما كل ما نحدثكموه سمعناه من رسول الله ﷺ ولكن حدثنا أصحابنا وكانت تشغلنا رعية الإبل
