The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was a man of medium height, broad between the shoulders, with thick hair reaching down to his earlobes. He was wearing a red garment, and I have never seen anything more beautiful than him ﷺ.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت أبا إسحاق قال سمعت
كان رسول الله ﷺ رجلا مربوعا بعيد ما بين المنكبين عظيم الجمة إلى شحمة أذنيه عليه حلة حمراء ما رأيت شيئا قط أحسن منه ﷺ
Its chain of transmission is sahih, narrated by Muslim 4/1819, no. 2338, and similarly by Bukhari 4/228 (Shaab edition) in the Book of Virtues, chapter on the description of the Prophet ﷺ, and Abu Dawud 4/81, no. 4183, in the chapter on grooming, what has been said about hair, and Tirmidhi 4/219, no. 1724, who said, hasan sahih.
