I came to the Prophet ﷺ and found his companions sitting so still it was as though birds were perched upon their heads.
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا المسعودي عن زياد بن علاقة
أتيت النبي ﷺ وإذا أصحابه كأنما على رءوسهم الطير
Its isnad is sahih, and it is found in Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah with the wording that follows.
