The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is lawful is clear, and what is forbidden is clear, and between the two are matters that are doubtful. Whoever leaves aside what is doubtful to him, whether sin or some other matter, will be even more inclined to leave aside what is plainly clear to him. Whoever ventures boldly into what he doubts is on the verge of falling into what is plainly forbidden. Whoever grazes his flock around a protected pasture is bound to stray into it."

قال رسول الله ﷺ حلال بين وحرام بين وبين ذلك أمور مشتبهة فمن ترك ما اشتبه عليه من الإثم أو الأمر فهو لما استبان له أترك ومن اجترأ على ما شك أوشك أن يواقع ما استبان ومن يرتع حول الحمى يوشك أن يواقعه
