I believe this is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "A man was traveling through a barren land," (Hasan said in his version, meaning a desolate wilderness) "and he stopped under a tree with his riding camel, on which were his waterskin and his food. When he awoke, he did not find it. He climbed a high spot but could not see it. Then he climbed another high spot but could not see it. Then he turned around, and there it was, dragging its halter. He was not more overjoyed at finding it than Allah is at the repentance of His servant when he repents."Bahz said, "His servant when he repents to Him."Bahz said that Hammad said, "I believe it is from the Prophet ﷺ."
