His father gave him a gift, so the mother of Numan said to him, "Have someone witness this gift for my son."He went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Have you given to all your children the same as you have given to this one?"He replied, "No."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declined to witness it for him.
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
أن أباه نحله نحلا فقالت له أم النعمان أشهد لابني على هذا النحل فأتى النبي ﷺ فذكر ذلك له فقال له أوكل ولدك أعطيت ما أعطيت هذا قال لا قال فكره رسول الله ﷺ أن يشهد له
