The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between the two are matters of doubt. Whoever leaves what is doubtful will be even more inclined to leave what is unlawful. The prohibitions of Allah are like a sanctuary, and whoever grazes around the sanctuary is bound to graze within it."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا شيبان عن عاصم عن خيثمة والشعبي
قال رسول الله ﷺ حلال بين وحرام بين وشبهات بين ذلك من ترك الشبهات فهو للحرام أترك ومحارم الله حمى فمن أرتع حول الحمى كان قمنا أن يرتع فيه
