The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People, turn to Allah in repentance and seek His forgiveness, for I myself turn to Allah in repentance and seek His forgiveness a hundred times each day."I asked him, "When I say, 'O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness, O Allah, I turn to You in repentance,' is that counted as two or as one?"He replied, "It is the same," or something to that effect.

قال رسول الله ﷺ يا أيها الناس توبوا إلى الله واستغفروه فإني أتوب إلى الله وأستغفره في كل يوم مائة مرة فقلت له اللهم إني أستغفرك اللهم إني أتوب إليك اثنتان أم واحدة فقال هو ذاك أو نحو هذا
