The Messenger of Allah ﷺ counted on his fingers, or on my fingers, and said, "Subhan Allah fills half the scale, al-hamdu lillah fills the scale, and Allahu akbar fills what is between the heavens and the earth. Purification is half of faith, and fasting is half of patience."
حدثنا معاذ بن معاذ أخبرنا شعبة أخبرنا أبو إسحاق الهمداني عن جري النهدي
عقد رسول الله ﷺ في يده أو في يدي فقال سبحان الله نصف الميزان والحمد لله تملأ الميزان والله أكبر تملأ ما بين السماء والأرض والطهور نصف الإيمان والصوم نصف الصبر
