The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned the Fire. Ibn Jafar said, He sought refuge from it and turned his face away, then he said, "Guard yourselves against the Fire, even with half a date. If you cannot find that, then with a kind word."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن وابن جعفر قالا حدثنا شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن خيثمة
ذكر رسول الله ﷺ النار قال ابن جعفر فتعوذ منها وأشاح بوجهه ثم قال اتقوا النار ولو بشق تمرة فإن لم تجدوا فبكلمة طيبة
