Urwa bin Mughira testified to me concerning his father, that his father had witnessed about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he was on a journey when he made his camel kneel, and his companions made their camels kneel as well.The Prophet ﷺ then went off to relieve himself. When he returned, I brought him a water vessel. He was wearing a Roman cloak with narrow sleeves. He tried to pull his hands out, but the sleeves were too tight, so he drew them out from underneath the cloak.Then I poured water for him and he performed ablution. When he reached his leather socks, I bent down to remove them, but he said, "Leave them, for I put them on while my feet were in a state of purity." So he wiped over them and completed his ablution.Shaybi said, Urwa testified to me about his father, and his father testified about the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا يونس بن أبي إسحاق سمعته من
شهد لي عروة بن المغيرة على أبيه أنه شهد له أبوه على رسول الله ﷺ أنه كان في سفر فأناخ وأناخ أصحابه قال فبرز النبي ﷺ لحاجته ثم جاء فأتيته بإداوة وعليه جبة له رومية ضيقة الكمين فذهب يخرج يديه فضاقتا فأخرجهما من تحت الجبة قال ثم صببت عليه فتوضأ فلما بلغ الخفين أهويت لأنزعهما فقال لا إني أدخلتهما وهما طاهرتان قال فتوضأ ومسح عليهما قال الشعبي فشهد لي عروة على أبيه شهد له أبوه على النبي ﷺ
