Muawiya wrote to Mughira bin Shuba, "Write to me about what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Mughira called me in and dictated his reply, writing, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he finished the prayer, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You grant, and none can grant what You withhold, and no fortune of any wealthy person can avail him against You.'I also heard him forbid idle talk and gossip, asking too many questions, and wasting wealth, and he forbade burying daughters alive, disobedience to mothers, and withholding what is due while demanding what is not."
