They both heard Warrad say that Muawiya wrote to him, meaning to Mughira, "Write to me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So he, meaning Mughira, wrote to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things capable."

سمعا ورادا كتب إليه يعني المغيرة كتب إليه معاوية اكتب إلي بشيء سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ فكتب إليه يعني المغيرة إن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقول لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
