Abbad bin Ziyad reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went off to relieve himself during the expedition to Tabuk.Mughira said, "I went with him carrying water. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came back, I poured water for him. He washed his face, then went to draw his arms out of the sleeves of his cloak, but he could not because the sleeves were too narrow, so he brought them out from underneath the cloak. He washed his arms, wiped his head, and wiped over his leather socks. Then the Prophet ﷺ came, and Abdul-Rahman bin Awf was leading the people in prayer and had already prayed one rakat with them. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with them the rakat that remained. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, he said, 'You have done well.'"Musab said that Malik made a serious error in this report.
