The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me during the time of Hudaybiyyah while I had thick hair, and he said, "It seems the lice on your head are bothering you."I replied, "Yes."He said, "Then shave it, and slaughter a sheep, or fast three days, or give three saa of dates as charity to be distributed among six poor people."

أتى علي رسول الله ﷺ زمن الحديبية وأنا كثير الشعر فقال كأن هوام رأسك تؤذيك فقلت أجل قال فاحلقه واذبح شاة أو صم ثلاثة أيام أو تصدق بثلاثة آصع من تمر بين ستة مساكين
