He saw a man dragging his lower garment behind him, treading on it out of arrogance, so he said, "Glory be to Allah! I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever treads on his garment out of arrogance will tread on it in the Fire.'"
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أسلم أنه سمع
ورأى رجلا يجر إزاره خلفه ويطؤه خيلاء فقال سبحان الله سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من وطئه من الخيلاء وطئه في النار
