His father Fayruz was reached by Islam while he was married to two sisters, so the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Divorce whichever of them you wish."Yahya once said, Ibn Lahiah narrated to us from Wahb bin Abdullah al-Maafiri, from Dahhak bin Fayruz, from his father, that he was reached by Islam.

Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Lahia, and Abu Wahb Jayshani Misri is acceptable. The hadith was recorded by Abu Dawud, 2/678, no. 2243, in the chapter on divorce, on the man who embraces Islam while having more than four wives, and Ibn Majah, 1/627, no. 1951, in the chapter on marriage, and Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 18/328, no. 843, and Bayhaqi, 7/184. It is also found with similar wording in Tirmidhi, 3/436, no. 1129, and Ibn Hibban, 310, no. 1276 of Al-Mawarid.
