He performed tawaf around the Kaaba with Muaz bin Afra after the Asr prayer, or after the Fajr prayer, and did not pray afterward. So he asked him about it, and he replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is no prayer after two prayers, after the morning prayer until the sun rises, and after the Asr prayer until the sun sets.'"

أنه طاف بالبيت مع معاذ ابن عفراء بعد العصر أو بعد الصبح فلم يصل فسألته فقال قال رسول الله ﷺ لا صلاة بعد صلاتين بعد الغداة حتى تطلع الشمس وبعد العصر حتى تغرب الشمس
