Ayub did not mention the Prophet ﷺ, while Hisham reported from Muhammad from Salman, raising it to the Prophet ﷺ, that he said regarding the boy, "There is an aqiqah due for him, so shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him."
حدثنا يونس قال ثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد عن أيوب عن محمد بن سيرين
لم يذكر أيوب النبي ﷺ وهشام عن محمد عن سلمان رفعه إلى النبي ﷺ أنه قال عن الغلام عقيقته فأهريقوا عنه دما وأميطوا عنه الأذى
