The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every boy is to have an aqiqah performed for him. Shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him."
حدثنا هشيم حدثنا يونس عن ابن سيرين
قال رسول الله ﷺ مع الغلام عقيقة أريقوا عنه دما وأميطوا عنه الأذى
Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned previously at 17798.
