He invited a Bedouin to eat with him on the day after the Day of Sacrifice, and the Bedouin said, "I am fasting."He said to him, "Amr bin As once invited a man to eat on this very day, and the man said, 'I am fasting.' Amr replied, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade fasting on this day.'"
قال حدثنا إبراهيم بن خالد قال حدثنا رباح عن معمر عن عاصم بن سليمان
دعا أعرابيا إلى طعام وذلك بعد النحر بيوم فقال الأعرابي إني صائم فقال له إن عمرو بن العاص دعا رجلا إلى طعام في هذا اليوم فقال إني صائم فقال عمرو إن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن صوم هذا اليوم
