I was the first to hear the Prophet ﷺ say, "None of you should urinate while facing the qiblah," and I was the first to relate this to the people.
حدثنا يونس بن محمد حدثنا ليث يعني ابن سعد عن يزيد يعني ابن أبي حبيب أنه سمع
أنا أول من سمع النبي ﷺ يقول لا يبول أحدكم مستقبل القبلة وأنا أول من حدث الناس بذلك
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators being well-known, trustworthy jurists. The hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah 1/115, no. 317, in the Book of Purification, on the prohibition of facing the qibla while relieving oneself, and by Ibn Abu Shayba 1/151.
