Abdullah bin Busr reported,

My father sent me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to invite him for a meal. He came along with me, and when I drew near the house I hurried ahead and informed my parents. They came out, met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and welcomed him. We placed for him a velvety blanket we had, and he sat upon it.Then my father said to my mother, "Bring out your food."She brought a bowl containing flour she had mixed into a thick paste with water and salt, and set it before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "Take, in the name of Allah, from its sides and leave its top, for the blessing lies in it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, and we ate with him, and some of it was left over. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, bless them, and grant them ample provision."

حدثنا أبو المغيرة حدثنا صفوان بن عمرو قال حدثني

عبد الله بن بسر المازني قال

بعثني أبي إلى رسول الله ﷺ أدعوه إلى الطعام فجاء معي فلما دنوت من المنزل أسرعت فأعلمت أبوي فخرجا فتلقيا رسول الله ﷺ ورحبا به ووضعنا له قطيفة كانت عندنا زئبرية فقعد عليها ثم قال أبي لأمي هات طعامك فجاءت بقصعة فيها دقيق قد عصدته بماء وملح فوضعته بين يدي رسول الله ﷺ فقال خذوا بسم الله من حواليها وذروا ذروتها فإن البركة فيها فأكل رسول الله ﷺ وأكلنا معه وفضل منها فضلة ثم قال رسول الله ﷺ اللهم اغفر لهم وارحمهم وبارك عليهم ووسع عليهم في أرزاقهم
