The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us, and my grandmother brought him some dates which he found to be few. She cooked for him, and we gave them to drink. The cup ran out, so I brought another cup, as I was the one serving. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give the cup to the one whom it last reached."
حدثنا حماد بن خالد عن معاوية بن صالح
أتانا رسول الله ﷺ فقدمت إليه جدتي تمرا يقلله وطبخت له وسقيناهم فنفد القدح فجئت بقدح آخر وكنت أنا الخادم فقال رسول الله ﷺ أعط القدح الذي انتهى إليه
