Amr bin Kharija reported,

I was holding the halter of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ she-camel while she was chewing her cud, her saliva running down between my shoulders, when he said, "Allah has granted every rightful person his due, so there is no bequest to an heir. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and the adulterer gets nothing. Whoever claims descent from someone other than his father, or attaches himself to people other than those who freed him, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all mankind."Affan said that Hammam added, with this same chain but without mentioning Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanem, "and I was beneath the base of his mount's neck." He also added, "no ransom or substitute will be accepted from him." And in Hammam's version, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon, and he said, "turning away from them."

حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا أبو عوانة قال أخبرنا قتادة عن شهر بن حوشب عن عبد الرحمن بن غنم

عن عمرو بن خارجة قال

كنت آخذا بزمام ناقة رسول الله ﷺ وهي تقصع بجرتها ولعابها يسيل بين كتفي فقال إن الله عز وجل أعطى لكل ذي حق حقه وليس لوارث وصية الولد للفراش وللعاهر الحجر ومن ادعى إلى غير أبيه أو انتمى إلى غير مواليه فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين قال عفان وزاد فيه همام بهذا الإسناد ولم يذكر عبد الرحمن بن غنم وإني لتحت جران راحلته وزاد فيه لا يقبل منه عدل ولا صرف وفي حديث همام أن رسول الله ﷺ خطب وقال رغبة عنهم
