Yazid bin Zayd Juzjani reported,

I set out for the mosque, and Utba bin Abd al-Mazini met me and asked, "Ayn Tureed?"I replied, "To the mosque."He said, "Bishr! For I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There is no servant who leaves his house heading to the mosque, whether in the morning or the evening, except that his steps are reckoned as one step erasing a sin and one step raising him a degree.'"
