Nawas bin Saman reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has set forth a parable of a straight path. On either side of the path are two walls with open doors, and over the doors are curtains. A caller stands at the head of the path calling out, and another caller calls from above it. 'And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path' [Yunus 10:25]. The doors along the sides of the path are the limits set by Allah. No one falls into transgressing the limits of Allah until he draws aside the curtain of Allah. And the one who calls from above is the admonisher of Allah ."

عن النواس بن سمعان قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله عز وجل ضرب مثلا صراطا مستقيما على كنفي الصراط سوران فيهما أبواب مفتحة وعلى الأبواب ستور وداع يدعو على رأس الصراط وداع يدعو من فوقه {والله يدعو إلى دار السلام ويهدي من يشاء إلى صراط مستقيم} فالأبواب التي على كنفي الصراط حدود الله لا يقع أحد في حدود الله حتى يكشف ستر الله والذي يدعو من فوقه واعظ الله عز وجل
