Nawas bin Saman reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Dajjal one morning. He spoke of him in tones now low, now loud, until we thought he was somewhere among the palm groves. When we came back to him later, he saw what was in our faces and asked us about it.We said, "Messenger of Allah, you mentioned Dajjal this morning, lowering your voice and raising it, until we thought he was there among the palm trees."He said, "It is not Dajjal I fear most for you. If he comes out while I am among you, I will contend with him on your behalf. If he comes out when I am no longer among you, then each man must contend for himself, and Allah will be my deputy over every Muslim. He is a young man with tightly curled hair and a protruding eye. He will emerge from a place between Sham and Iraq and wreak havoc right and left. Servants of Allah, hold firm."We said, "Messenger of Allah, how long will he remain on the earth?"He said, "Forty days. One day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of his days like your days."We said, "Messenger of Allah, on that day which is like a year, will one day's prayers be enough for us?"He said, "No. Calculate its measure."We said, "Messenger of Allah, how fast will he move through the earth?"He said, "Like rain driven along by the wind. He will come upon a people and call them, and they will believe in him and respond. He will command the sky and it will rain, and the earth and it will bring forth crops, and their herds will return to them in the evening with humps taller than ever, flanks fuller, and udders heavier with milk. Then he will come upon another people and call them, and they will reject what he says, so he will turn away from them and they will wake up in barren drought with nothing left of their wealth. He will pass by a ruin and say to it, 'Bring out your treasures,' and its treasures will follow him like swarms of bees."Then he will summon a man in the fullness of youth and strike him with the sword, cutting him into two pieces as far apart as an archer's target, and then he will call him and the man will come forward with his face beaming."While he is in the midst of all this, Allah will send the Messiah, son of Maryam . He will descend at the white minaret in the eastern part of Damascus, wearing two saffron garments, his hands resting on the wings of two angels. He will pursue Dajjal, overtake him, and kill him at the eastern gate of Ludd."Then, while they are in that state, Allah will reveal to Isa, son of Maryam , 'I have brought forth servants of Mine whom no one has the power to fight, so take My servants safely to Tur.' Allah will send Yajuj and Majuj, and they will be as Allah said, 'swarming down from every height' [Anbiya 21:96]. Isa and his companions will turn to Allah in supplication, and He will send worms into their necks, and by morning they will lie dead as though a single soul had died. Then Isa and his companions will come down, and they will not find a single spot on earth that is not filled with their rot and stench. So Isa and his companions will again turn to Allah in supplication, and He will send birds with necks like those of Bactrian camels, which will carry them off and cast them wherever Allah wills."Ibn Jabir said, "Ata bin Yazid Saksaki told me, on the authority of Kaab or someone else, that they will be cast into Mahbal."Ibn Jabir said, "I asked, 'Abu Yazid, where is Mahbal?'"He replied, "Where the sun rises."The Prophet continued, "Then Allah will send a rain that no house of hide or clay can keep out, lasting forty days, and it will wash the earth until it is left smooth as a mirror. Then it will be said to the earth, 'Bring forth your fruit and restore your blessing.' On that day a group of people will eat from a single pomegranate and shelter in the shade of its rind. Milk will be so blessed that one milch camel will suffice a whole company of people, one milch cow will suffice a clan, and one ewe will suffice a household."While they are in that state, Allah will send a pleasant wind that will touch them beneath their armpits and take the soul of every Muslim," or he said, "every believer. Only the worst of people will be left, coupling like donkeys, and upon them," or he said, "upon him, the Hour will come."

النواس بن سمعان الكلابي قال

ذكر رسول الله ﷺ الدجال ذات غداة فخفض فيه ورفع حتى ظنناه في طائفة النخل فلما رحنا إليه عرف ذلك في وجوهنا فسألناه فقلنا يا رسول الله ذكرت الدجال الغداة فخفضت فيه ورفعت حتى ظنناه في طائفة النخل قال غير الدجال أخوفني عليكم فإن يخرج وأنا فيكم فأنا حجيجه دونكم وإن يخرج ولست فيكم فامرؤ حجيج نفسه والله خليفتي على كل مسلم إنه شاب جعد قطط عينه طافية وإنه يخرج من خلة بين الشام والعراق فعاث يمينا وشمالا يا عباد الله اثبتوا قلنا يا رسول الله ما لبثه في الأرض قال أربعين يوما يوم كسنة ويوم كشهر ويوم كجمعة وسائر أيامه كأيامكم قلنا يا رسول الله فذلك اليوم الذي هو كسنة أيكفينا فيه صلاة يوم وليلة قال لا اقدروا له قدره قلنا يا رسول الله فما إسراعه في الأرض قال كالغيث استدبرته الريح قال فيمر بالحي فيدعوهم فيستجيبون له فيأمر السماء فتمطر والأرض فتنبت وتروح عليهم سارحتهم وهي أطول ما كانت ذرى وأمده خواصر وأسبغه ضروعا ويمر بالحي فيدعوهم فيردوا عليه قوله فتتبعه أموالهم فيصبحون ممحلين ليس لهم من أموالهم شيء ويمر بالخربة فيقول لها أخرجي كنوزك فتتبعه كنوزها كيعاسيب النحل قال ويأمر برجل فيقتل فيضربه بالسيف فيقطعه جزلتين رمية الغرض ثم يدعوه فيقبل إليه يتهلل وجهه قال فبينا هو على ذلك إذ بعث الله عز وجل المسيح ابن مريم عليه السلام فينزل عند المنارة البيضاء شرقي دمشق بين مهرودتين واضعا يده على أجنحة ملكين فيتبعه فيدركه فيقتله عند باب لد الشرقي قال فبينما هم كذلك إذ أوحى الله عز وجل إلى عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام أني قد أخرجت عبادا من عبادي لا يدان لك بقتالهم فحوز عبادي إلى الطور فيبعث الله عز وجل يأجوج ومأجوج وهم كما قال الله عز وجل {من كل حدب ينسلون} فيرغب عيسى وأصحابه إلى الله عز وجل فيرسل عليهم نغفا في رقابهم فيصبحون فرسى كموت نفس واحدة فيهبط عيسى وأصحابه فلا يجدون في الأرض بيتا إلا قد ملأه زهمهم ونتنهم فيرغب عيسى وأصحابه إلى الله عز وجل فيرسل عليهم طيرا كأعناق البخت فتحملهم فتطرحهم حيث شاء الله عز وجل قال ابن جابر فحدثني عطاء بن يزيد السكسكي عن كعب أو غيره قال فتطرحهم بالمهبل قال ابن جابر فقلت يا أبا يزيد وأين المهبل قال مطلع الشمس قال ويرسل الله عز وجل مطرا لا يكن منه بيت وبر ولا مدر أربعين يوما فيغسل الأرض حتى يتركها كالزلفة ويقال للأرض أنبتي ثمرتك وردي بركتك قال فيومئذ يأكل النفر من الرمانة ويستظلون بقحفها ويبارك في الرسل حتى أن اللقحة من الإبل لتكفي الفئام من الناس واللقحة من البقر تكفي الفخذ والشاة من الغنم تكفي أهل البيت قال فبينا هم على ذلك إذ بعث الله عز وجل ريحا طيبة تحت آباطهم فتقبض روح كل مسلم أو قال كل مؤمن ويبقى شرار الناس يتهارجون تهارج الحمير وعليهم أو قال وعليه تقوم الساعة
