He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cut a piece from a shoulder of meat and eat it. Then the muezzin came to him, so he put down the knife and rose for prayer without performing ablution.

أنه رأى رسول الله ﷺ احتز من كتف فأكل فأتاه المؤذن فألقى السكين ثم قام إلى الصلاة ولم يتوضأ
