The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prayer is performed two units at a time. You make the testimony of faith and give the salutation after every two units. You display humility and neediness, raise your hands in supplication, and say, 'O Allah, O Allah.' Whoever does not do this, his prayer is deficient."
حدثنا حجاج بن محمد قال شعبة أخبرني عن عبد ربه بن سعيد عن عمران بن أبي أنس من أهل مصر عن عبد الله بن نافع عن عبد الله بن الحارث
أن النبي ﷺ قال الصلاة مثنى مثنى وتشهد وتسلم في كل ركعتين وتبأس وتمسكن وتقنع يديك وتقول اللهم اللهم فمن لم يفعل ذلك فهي خداج
