I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Ali is from me and I am from him, and none shall discharge a duty on my behalf except myself or Ali."Sharik said, I asked Abu Ishaq, "Where did you hear this from him?"He replied, "At such and such a place, I do not remember exactly."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا شريك عن أبي إسحاق
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول علي مني وأنا منه ولا يؤدي عني إلا أنا أو علي قال شريك قلت لأبي إسحاق أنت أين سمعته منه قال موضع كذا وكذا لا أحفظه
