I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon, saying, "The hand that gives is the upper one. Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then your closest relative, then the next closest."A group from Banu Thalaba bin Yarbu then entered, and a man from the Ansar said, "Messenger of Allah, these are the Yarbu men who killed so-and-so."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Indeed, no soul bears the crime of another."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا المسعودي عن إياد بن لقيط
أتيت النبي ﷺ وهو يخطب ويقول يد المعطي العليا أمك وأباك وأختك وأخاك وأدناك فأدناك قال فدخل نفر من بني ثعلبة بن يربوع فقال رجل من الأنصار يا رسول الله هؤلاء النفر اليربوعيون الذين قتلوا فلانا فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا لا تجني نفس على أخرى مرتين
