Abdullah bin Jafar bin Abu Talib reported,

The last time I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he was holding fresh dates in one hand and a cucumber in the other, eating from this one and taking a bite from that one. He said, "The best meat of the sheep is the meat of the back."

حدثنا نصر بن باب عن حجاج عن قتادة

عن عبد الله بن جعفر أنه قال

إن آخر ما رأيت رسول الله ﷺ في إحدى يديه رطبات وفي الأخرى قثاء وهو يأكل من هذه ويعض من هذه وقال إن أطيب الشاة لحم الظهر
