Its isnad is sahih. Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir Azdi Shami is among the trustworthy jurists, and his hadith appears in Muslim. As for Zayd bin Jariyah, also said to be Ziyad as in what follows it, or Yazid, he was deemed trustworthy by Nasai and others, and it is said that he was a companion of the Prophet. The hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah 2/951 in the book of jihad, on the bonus share, and by Darimi 2/300, number 2483, in the book of military expeditions, on the bonus share after the fifth.
