Uqba bin Amir reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My mother has died, and I wish to give charity on her behalf."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Did she instruct you to do so?"The man replied, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then do not do it."

عن عقبة بن عامر قال

جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال إن أمي ماتت وإني أريد أن أتصدق عنها قال أمرتك قال لا قال فلا تفعل
