Uqba bin Amir reported,

He narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "There is no day's work except that it is sealed upon completion. When a believer falls ill, the angels say, 'Our Lord, Your servant so-and-so, You have confined him.' The Lord then says, 'Seal for him the like of his usual deeds until he recovers or dies.'"

حدثنا علي بن إسحاق قال حدثنا عبد الله أخبرني ابن لهيعة قال حدثني يزيد أن أبا الخير حدثه أنه سمع

يحدث عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال ليس من عمل يوم إلا وهو يختم عليه فإذا مرض المؤمن قالت الملائكة يا ربنا عبدك فلان قد حبسته فيقول الرب عز وجل اختموا له على مثل عمله حتى يبرأ أو يموت
